Light under the hood?
 

Hi folks. I have a 97 Sahara. I can't turn off the light under the
hood. I close the hook, put on the lock on both side and I can still
see the light is on. For now, I remove the light bulb but can anyone
tell me where is the switch to turn it off? Is there a fuse just for
that light? Thanks.

Hi Lynn,
The socket has a mercury switch inside, tilt it down further, if it
doesn't shut off then it must be defective.

Hi Lynn,

I would guess replaced, if it's in the correct position bulb up
when hood is up.
