I have not noticed it and I have used them in the desert. They sure
are handy when you end up out in the boonies and the sun goes down.
Don't know how they would be in the woods... here ya have to look to
find a tree!

I don't know, the light bar is on my Christmas wish list.
If it doesn't fall under the tree (so far not) then I will buy myself one.
