LF 89 YJ Electrical wiring diagram

I'm looking for complete or parts of the electrical diagram for an 89 YJ
with a 4.2L engine. For starters I need the instrument cluster diagram and
the charging diagram. Would also consider buying an original Jeep electrical
troubleshooting manual.

I would also like to find a diagram of the vacuum lines for the same Jeep
for a later project of a complete redo of the vacuum system (alot of tubes
have bolts in them right now).

Thanks,
Nelson

Well, for a basic vacuum diagram, check here:

http://home.sprynet.com/~dale02/ignmods.htm

The twenty buck or so Haynes manual for the CJ's has the correct wiring
diagram for the 258 vehicles. The Haynes or Chilton YJ manual is crap
for them, they aim at the 4.0 engine mostly.

I use the Haynes manual when I put a 'glass body on and redid a mess of
wiring. She started up and worked the first try.

Re: LF 89 YJ Electrical wiring diagram

That's exactly the problem I'm having, my neighbour has the Haynes Wrangler
1987-1999 manual and as you said it's mostly aimed at the 4.0L engine. I
have the Chilton 1987-1995 and it's just about the same crap. I'll try to
find a CJ manual at Canadian Crapper and check it out.

BTW the link you gave me was for the nutter mod, but I found the page about
vacuum systems on the same site :)

Thanks
