Late CJ5 Hard top fit an early Willys CJ5?
 

I have a chance to buy a Hard top from a 1978 CJ5. Will it fit on an early
Willy's CJ5? (1953 though my CJ has the curved fenders and am not 100% sure
its a '53)

All you need Marty is the windshield from a later model, the body tub is
pretty much the same, I have a soft top and windshield frame from a 76 or
newer on my 74 model CJ5, it all fitted fine, you will need new hinges to go
with the later model windshield frame.

All you need Marty is the windshield from a later model, the body tub is
pretty much the same, I have a soft top and windshield frame from a 76 or
newer on my 74 model CJ5, it all fitted fine, you will need new hinges to go
with the later model windshield frame.

NO. The CJ5 got wider in 1976.
