How do I kill file using outlook , NOT outlook express?

Huh? How do you read news using Outlook?

Outlook rules are under Tools, Rules and Alerts. There are "Conditions" to
select messages, and "Actions" for what to do to selected messages. "Kill
File" is probably the same as "Permanently delete it".

If you mean for newsgroups, you can't. Outlook is not a newsreader and
cannot read newsgroups unless some 3rd party software is installed.

As a confusion factor, if you've added the News command to Outlook it
will open Outlook Express but it will label it as Outlook Newsreader or
some such. It's still Outlook Express regardless of the label and the
way to killfile is the same.

More info: If you want to eliminate all the garbage from this newsgroup
you need to use a newsreader with scorefile capabilities, those that
have scorefiles are 40tude Dialog, Pan, Slrn and my preference, XNews.
