It is just too nice out. Bush run time!

The weather is just too wickedly nice out after having snow last week so
my wife and I are taking the CJ7 off to the Canadian bush to see if we
can find some mud and a snow free place to pitch the tent.

We are heading into our normal area in the Bancroft neighborhood. The
trails could be interesting. The last time we cut the first run in, it
took the whole day to get across what is normally 2-3 hours.

Not figuring on doing too much wheeling because we are running solo and
I do good these days just to get there... Just getting to the campsite
we like last fall required going around a blind corner under 3' of
water. It should be a riot with the spring run off. We might be
pitching the tent right there to just sit and take photos of others if
there is too much ice left.....

Coming back Monday night some time.

If anyone of the folks that comes on our runs would care to join us, I
believe we are heading in from the east end or Bon Echo end of the trail
this time. I will drop a pie plate hanging from a tree with directions
at the main turn by the gravel pit and 1st cabin. Pay attention to it,
because it will be the either go across or head for a cabin turn.

Lots of spring run off I have been out 2ice and seen water flowing in areas
like never before.
Infact I couldn't find a dry spot in Point Petre.
As for up north only been in the Murray hills and its crazy wet.

Enjoy!stay dry.
