And it feels like it might run with my old 5.9 '98 in a quick run to 60mph.
Anyone else had any "contests" against some hot contenders?

Yeah. I raced my old 4cyl CJ7 against some blue headed old lady in a
Dodge Dart. Blew my doors off...ok, well, I didn't have doors on, but
that's another story.
