Jeeps can go anywhere - even down the rails
Ok, so check out the jeep FC set up to drive up & down the railroad rails (1/2 way down page) at http://wx4.org/to/convergence/geepjeep.html In WWII (ETO, CBI, MTo and others I am sure) the US Army put special rims on jeeps and used them to pull boxcars around when the real locamotives were all shot up... Jeeps, trucks, sedans, etc. were all used by various folks that worked on the railway. Most had instant lower/raise wheels so the vehicle could be taken off the tracks at any crossing area when desired...or necessary. -- Me human. You Computer. Me have BFH. You have fragile parts.
