That'd be a first for you.

Realizing your mental limitations, I see nothing wrong in being generous.

Do you always find it this hard to answer simple questions, Bill? Maybe
if I rephrase it slightly, you might understand: What would you have
the power to arrest him for? What offence, EXACTLY, not some vague
accusation of "treason."

There, is that easier?

Absent Without Leave, punishable by death, during war. And knowing this
coward works, it never took advantage of Jimmy Carter's draft evasion
amnesty. So it's still a criminal traitor, and I would like to be the one
that arrest SW. UNDERSTAND now lame brain!

Desertion is much more severe than simply AWOL (not that you'd know why).

The maximum U.S. penalty for desertion in wartime remains death, although
this punishment was last applied to Eddie Slovik in 1945

Did not apply as I was not an evader.

Besides, amnesty comes from 'amnos', meaning to forget.

I have done nothing that needs 'forgetting'.

Not according to any laws of any country.

And I'm looking forward to watching you try, as they haul your pathetic
away.

No, you still don't.

"Another report stated that since 2000, about 40,000 troops from all
branches of the military have deserted, also according to the Pentagon.
More than half of these served in the US Army."

"The UK military has reported over 1000 deserters since the beginning of
the war in Iraq, with 566 deserting since 2005."
