there is a time limit the manufacturer has to make parts available for
recalls i think it's 10 years

there is a time limit the manufacturer has to make parts available for
recalls i think it's 10 years

You are wrong!

Our 88 was in recently for a recall.

There is no time limit on a safety recall.

Damn man I don't even pretend to be a mechanic and even I know that!

no i'm not!!!!! there are still parts in dealers hands for recalls but like your
88.but
like the time i recently tried to order the gas tank recall seal for the
vintage wrangler and the part came bac cancelled so if you don't work at a
dealer how would you know i'm wrong esp. when jeep cancels the recall part
number!
so when a manufacturer cancels the part number that is effectively the end of
that recall would you not agree
