Jeep Grand Cherokee 2004 model
Hi
I have a new 2004 model Jeep G C with original digital radio with navigation. My problem is that it looses the memory. I have the car running or in Park, no seat belt on, set all radio stations, push the set button on the door than the 1 button for my black remote and it seems to be programmed. Like when I did this yesterday it was ok as well as this morning, but at lunchtime all the radio setting was gone. Any one know what it cold be? |

short or lose wire. There should be a connection from the radio to an
"always hot" wire. This holds the presets. Jeepdriver wrote: > Hi > I have a new 2004 model Jeep G C with original digital radio with > navigation. My problem is that it looses the memory. Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee 2004 model
Thanks Jim85CJ
I have to get the dealer to have it checked. It must than be a wire that is not hot as there is no problems when I drive. It was ok yesterday and this morning but at lunch all stations was on the same frequencies, but the station I listen to when I left the car was still on. I got the wrong instruction book for the radio and are waiting for the correct one. There are some settings that I don't know what is on the second or third page on the screen so it may be there the problem is. Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee 2004 model
Yes, take it to the Stealership. For some reason you have a low
battery that sucks the brains out of the radio on starting the engine.
