Re: Jeep brake lights
I also have weird brake light problem. 98 Cherokee (XJ), sometimes, and
it seems to be when the vehicle has been running a while, the right rear directional signal light will go on when the left rear directional signal light goes on. (ie, I signal left, and both the left-rear and right-rear directionals flash together, as if the hazard flashers were on.) Any ideas? Re: Jeep brake lights
Broken filament in the brake lamp bulb. When the Lights are off, the brake
lamp grounds through the lighting circuit. The ground source goes away when you switch the Lights on.
