Jeep Audio Systems, Junk?
 

We have a 98 TJ, the AM Radio works fine. The FM seems really weak and the
scanner picks up diddly. My GM pick up right along side of it has a ton FM
stations booming in. Is this normal for the Jeep radio to be so weak?

My 01 TJ radio picks up FM signal where most other radios give up. May be
there is something wrong with your unit. Is the external antenna plugged
in properly?

My 01 TJ radio picks up FM signal where most other radios give up. May be
there is something wrong with your unit. Is the external antenna plugged
in properly?

see if the antenna wire is unplugged behind the glovebox it's a black wire about
a 1/4 inch in dia. with some dark grey faom pad stuck on it the plug is near the
fuse box
