It's Red again (fiberglass tub reconditionong)

You may remember way back in August of 2002 when I first bought my Jeep,
I was asking a lot of questions on how to restore the color of the
fiberglass. Well the last two years I have tried using a extra strength
boat polish which would end up looking spotty, take half a day to buff,
and then only last a few weeks. A friend recently recommended that we
use Automatic Transmission Fluid to bring back the color of the Jeep.
Well Monday my wife, 3.5 y/o son & I washed it, then we spent about 20
minutes wiping it down with the ATF. It seems to have worked well. We
then waited about half an hour and wiped it down again to remove any
excess. It dried very nice. We will have to see how long it lasts, but
so far it looks better, and because of how easy it was to do I would not
mind having to do it every once in a while.

first time we buffed it, took four people about 1 hour:

second time took me about 2 hours:
