instument clister dimmer control not working
A few days ago the dimmer control the the left-hand control stalk of my
'03 TJ Sahara stopped working. The instrument panel and radio lighting is now always full-brightness when on. In addition, the interior light switch no longer turns on the interior lights (though opening a door turns them on). Has anyone else seen this? If so do you know a fix? The vehicle is still under warranty so I can take it back to the dealer, but I thought I'd ask here first in case someone has experienced this before. |

Check your fuses first. If all are good, I'm guessing either dirty contacts on the rheostat, cold solder joint somewhere, or a flaky circuit board. As much of a PITA as it is to take it to the dealer, I'd say take advantage of the warranty. |
