I don't need sway-bar disconnects...
 
....because I looked today and a P.O. apparently removed the sway bar
already. I've been driving around like that so far and it hasn't
bothered me so I guess I'll just leave it like that.

What did you end up with, a "76 CJ5? It probably never had a sway bar.

What did you end up with, a "76 CJ5? It probably never had a sway bar.

Yes.

Was it only an option in '76? From what I read so far they just talk
about there being one up front and not in the rear and never mention
that it might just not have one. I'm not worried about it, really.
It seems to drive ok on the road for me.

Ever since I installed my sway bar disco's I think I've re-connected the
swaybar ONCE.

I do notice a small bit of body roll in quick cornering, but with a 13"
wider stance since installing my new axles, I don't feel in danger of
rolling over one bit.
