How to patch soft top
I just picked up a used OEM soft top, half doors and uppers. All in good
shape except for one hole in the driver side sail. At $400.00 I couldn't resist. What is the best way to repair the hole? It's small, more like a cut. I also am looking for the brackets for rear window to the body. Anyone have a source for these, or any idea what DC would ask for them? |
Re: How to patch soft top
Hi Peter,
I'd try a rag top dealer/repair, they're use to repairing the slashes done by thieves that believe the door is locked. It's probably easiest to make the pieces with your lock black smith, or peruse the bone yards, or give the manufacture a call: http://www.bestop.com/ God Bless America, ßill O|||||||O mailto:-------------------- http://www.----------.com/ Peter Brideau wrote: > > I just picked up a used OEM soft top, half doors and uppers. Duct tape? ;)
As for the rear window bar, my buddy just picked one up at the dealer for I think $97 (ouch).
