The firearm classes at nine, were taught by professionals, on the par
with the Drill Sergeants, which of course we know you swabies know nothing
about.
I was drafted before Vietnam, and it was a surprise to me, and the other
tens of thousands inductees each day, at Fort Ord, filling all the barracks,
not used since WWII.
At nine years, means you were past over three times, and out!
