How to get gauge cables through firewall?

I am adding a mechanical oil pressure and temperature gauge to a 1991
Cherokee 4L Auto. Is there an existing hole in the firewall to pass
the cables from the passenger to the engine compartment? If not, where
is the best place to drill a hole in the firewall? Thanks, in advance.

Don't know your answer but the best method is to check
for other pass-throughs. Brake, gas, etc. all have rubber grommets
and usually there is enough room to thread another wire through.
