How come my steering wheel is off-center after returning from Tellico trails?

I went to Tellico a while back after which I noticed that my steering wheel
"where you rest your thumb part of the steering wheel" is no longer
perfectly horzontal like it used to be. Even when I am driving in a
straight line. Does this mean I need an alignment? there are no other
noticable changes including tire wear.

Might want to check your tie rod... you may have bent it on the run.

Re: How come my steering wheel is off-center after returning from Tellico trails?

While a bent tie-rod is a common cause of this problem, the draglink is also
known for bending which will also cause the steering wheel to be off. The
draglink is what connects the steering box via the Pitman arm to the tierod.
