Re: How about a 95" Cherokee

I have an 01 XJ Limited and a 95 XJ Sport my son drives. I bought it used on
eBay at 63k miles in 02/02 and have put about $2k repairs (many seals, rear
diff bearings, brakes, exhaust, tires, mostly) into it to 112k miles. It is
now very solid and reliable.

I'm also looking at a very pretty 90 XJ with 123k miles for a family spare car!

Both mine have Command-Trac, I'm considering having Selec-Trac put in the 01.
I'd love the FT 4wd capability, and I'll probably keep it until 2012 (really!)

I feel any 9-yr old vehicle is a crapshoot--the care it's gotten is much more
important than what it is!
