Headlight conversion kits

Hi all,
Getting a little tired of the weak headlights in my 01 Cherokee sport,
so I want to replace the headlights with one of the many conversion kits
that are out there. In my old YJ i had the hella vision kit, and liked
it. seem to throw a good amount of light with a nice pattern that made
it easy to see the road as well as road signs etc. Am loking at the
Hella kit, IPF makes a kit and I am really liking the looks of the
diamond cut IPCW kit. Anyone Got any of these on your YJ or XJ and feel
on eway or the other. Also, If i decide to use bulbs over 55/65 i need
to upgrade the wiring, right?
Any help and info is much appreciated.
Jason

I have H-4s in all my rigs. I just put a set of NOS Cibies with 55/100 bulbs
in my newest old car.
http://www.hella.com/produktion/Hell...PDF/Bulbs1.pdf .
The better light pattern makes brighter bulbs unnecessary for normal city
driving, but here in the mountains a 100 watt high beam helps keep me eating
beef instead of venison.
I haven't tried the diamond cut, but it looks too trendy to be as good as
the real deal to me. Same with the funny colors, and the companies claiming
a lower watt bulb performs the same as a higher watt bulb. A better
comparison would be candella or lumens, as Watts is more of a measurement of
heat. 130 watt bulbs produce almost exactly the same Candella as 100s, but
use more power and produce more heat.
Wiring should be upgraded if load is increased, unless it's an old Benz..

I've heard good things about the IPF H4's. Check out the specs on
www.rocky-road.com , but don't try to buy from them.

Re: Headlight conversion kits

From all the write ups that I have read, I am gonna give the IPF's a
shot. Anyone know where I can get the lenses and the IPF upgraded
wiring kit together? I noticed that your website had both Carl, but you
don't seem to think I should buy from them.
Thanks so much
Jason
