Have you seen this tranny? Pics included... (was Tranny fill plug location on 86 cherokee?)
Anybody know what tranny this is?
I posted some pics - trying to find fill hole on this dude... http://s90248361.onlinehome.us/misc/tranny.htm It's a 1986 2wd, 4 speed, 2.5 liter fuel injection. (the throttle body injector) -- Skip |

AX5 - the rear section threw me off a bit until I reread your post and you

See those two rusty bolts with the torx fittings in them? The two the
same, one center bottom, the other on the side. That is them, the fill and drain.... Maybe a T55 torx? Just a guess. See those two rusty bolts with the torx fittings in them? The two the

Mike is probably right, though on my 94 YJ w/ 2.5L/AX5 the fill plug is on
the passenger side.
