To the group
I'm checking out. I've tried to ad to the conversations here, but after at
least a year, I have yet to be accepted. Cool. I wish the best to all of you, and keep Jeepin!! Earle: My uncle does know more than me, but he is still too old to capture newer technology. You and him would get along great. Joshie: You are a great writer, but are basically FOS. I have a feeling that the fact that you say you are 16 is a cover. Either way, you are a troll but could be a good asset if you wanted to be. Mike R. You obviously work at some kind of dealership, or used to. You are a wealth of information, and a great asset to this group. We will talk another day, in another group. You and I have a lot in common based on the posts we submit. Bill H. You are much like my uncle as well, except that you know what you are talking about most of the time even though you are hung up on the "real Jeep" thing. Get over that, and realize that while older Jeeps are cool, they are the minority in this sport. Still though, a 400 SBC in a "real Jeep" with the mods that you describe, has to be "king of the hill" in most cases. I could give you a run easily, but it would take too much work to ramp up for that. Maybe someday I will make the dunes a priority again, and waste your ass a few times up some real big hill. It wouldn't be hard to do, and we would both have a ball doing it no matter who gets there first. Beer breaks and sand go hand in hand. Bye guys!! Red Racer |
Re: To the group
But you are accepted ! Why on earth do you think you aren't ?

I just got started out here, but I remember a post you made to me about the Edelbrock "power package combo thingie" and I appreciated it. If you gotta go, you gotta go, but I'm not sure you you say you have yet to be accepted. Nobody told me that I was "accepted" to this group, but I don't recall anyone ever being told that they were. I hope most people here don't want me to go because if they do then they're in for a disappointment. ;-) Stick around, dude! -- Travis http://jeepadventures.dyndns.org/jeep.html The meek shall inherit the earth.
