Bit late to be ordering for Christmas. On the odd chance that this is
a legitimate request and not SPAM I'd say not to go with any of the
units on that site without feedback from someone who has first hand
experience with them. They seem to be Chinese knockoffs of Garmin
units, possibly using knockoff processors (I've never heard of
"Sumsung"--Samsung, yes, but not "Sumsung"). An important question is
what maps they're using and how one obtains updates.

If you want a good cheap GPS a Garmin 26xx or 27xx can be had for a
very reasonable price--they work, they're reliable (mine sits on my
motorcycle outdoors 24/7 and works first time every time), and they
have real support including continued updating of the maps.

I figured as much but thought there was a tiny chance that he went
there following the "$40 HID" spam and found GPS.

Garmin is said a GPS supporter of BMW, right?

I don't know anything about BMW cars. BMW sells a rebadged Garmin
with some added features for their motorcycles--trouble is that it
costs more than a standard Garmin and won't take updates from Garmin,
you have to get them from BMW, which provides them with less
regularity.
