The oil pick up is probably at the rear of the pan, but the oil
will be sloshed to a foam up in the rods, so with all the air bubbles
the little Japanese car is lucky all that it lost was one lifter.

Poor guy obviously had to sell his doors and most of his bodywork to pay for
the repairs.
