Re: Good lube for door hinges?
Chrysler yanked ten cents per wagon, long ago. I just use my
regular oil can filled with whatever motor oil I'm using. stuff a bunch of rags around the hinges to soak up the excess, then clean the dust that collects from time to time. I used to have a can of bicycle chain oil that was easy to use, but I think that went the way of CFCs. Re: Good lube for door hinges?
Just spray them with a heavy application of a white lithium grease-based
aerosol lube which will penetrate well and hang around long enough to make it worth your while. Avoid WD-40 which will rinse out what little lube remains and replace with a very poor excuse for a lubricant that evaporates within a few days. Doug wrote: > What's good to use to lube door hinges?
