On real jeeps you can 'thump the gas tank because you are sitting right on
top of it.

On real jeeps you can 'thump the gas tank because you are sitting right on
top of it.

On my first chevy you could reach behind the seat and tap the gas tank. :/

Same with my '72 Ford:
