Re: FINALLY getting my lift, now what lift to get is the question.
I just put a rubicon 4 1/2" on my YJ and it's actually closer to 6" high.
Rubicon has awesome springs, soft and flexy....do some research on their lifts and springs. I think you'd be really happy. The kit was complete and all the parts fit great. -- Robb Message posted via CarKB.com http://www.carkb.com/Uwe/Forums.aspx/jeep-cars/200505/1 |

Re: FINALLY getting my lift, now what lift to get is the question.
I have the Rough Country lift -- just remember, they don't call it Rough
Country for no reason at all.... I will say, though, that after having it on for almost a year, things softened up a bit. Not much, but a bit. It could have something to do with my having a 2.5L (lighter). My front end sits slightly higher than the rear now that I have the tire carrier and 33" MT hanging off the back. Have to get some small coil spacers to counter that. Or a winch up front to lower it a bit. ;-) Eric "Jeep" <jrhiltz@eastlink.ca> wrote in message news:vYhme.17734$9A2.3423@edtnps89... >I second the BDS ;ifts...I know atleast 20 ppl with them on their TJ and >they work well, priced well and great customer service...also the Rough >country 4" is a beauty kit and very inexpensive...my buddy jus put one on >his TJ with plenty of room for his 35's and then some >http://rough.roughcountry.com/ $499.
