Ethos FR: opinions? More snake oil?

I'm not endorsing this product. Does anyone know if it really works or is it
just more snake oil? Here's the blurb for this fuel additive:

Ethos FR is a unique combination of high-quality, non-toxic, specially
designed esters that uses only the elements of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen.

This combination of low molecular weight cleaning esters and high molecular
weight lubricating esters, reformulates any fuel whether its' gasoline,
diesel, methanol, ethanol, hydrogen, LNG, compressed natural gas or
bio-diesel.

EPA laboratories tests confirm that EthosFR is clean upon ignition and ash
less upon combustion. EthosFR is free of carcinogens.

Ethos FR is non-toxic, non-hazardous and works with any fuel used in cars,
trucks, buses, RV's, ships, trains and generators. Ethos FR reduces fuel
costs by producing a net gain in mileage above cost.

Ethos Environmental offers a cost effective solution to help industry meet
environmental regulations and relieve skyrocketing fuel prices. Hundreds of
millions of miles of road tests have proven that commercial fleets on
average increase fuel mileage between 7% and 19% and reduce emissions by
more than 30%.

HCOOH Formic acid.. probably not
C12H22O11 Sugar.. again, probably not but it's good in iced tea.
CH3CH2OH Ethanol.. hey, might have a winner here
CH3OH Methanol.. prolly not, not real "non-toxic".

I'd say Ethanol
And a healty dose of refined snake oil.

Have you paid attention to pretty much what the available blurbs all
very carefully avoid saying? Say, what the claimed benefit of this
miracle additive is?

Thus making it anything from soup to nuts. Or snake oil, or wood
alcohol or grain alcohol or sugar or pretty much any other similarly
useless additive.

Oh good, your jeep won't get cancer. Note that there are very few
organic compounds that are NOT carcinogens that are worth a darn as fuel
additives.

So if it is non-toxic, what is it? Grain alcohol?

Was this a real question? If so, you'd need to know that is really in

Have you paid attention to pretty much what the available blurbs all
very carefully avoid saying? Say, what the claimed benefit of this
miracle additive is?

Thus making it anything from soup to nuts. Or snake oil, or wood
alcohol or grain alcohol or sugar or pretty much any other similarly
useless additive.

To what purpose was this done?
