error code on 98TJ 4liter

Hi,
I am getting a check engine light and the code reader indicates: P0
107. Which is Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barametric Pressure Circuit
low input.
Have no idea what or how serious this is. Any help out there?
Thanks, Al

The TJ is run by computers and their low powered sensors. They are very
prone to getting corroded connections on their mini pins and are so
touchy you can't even see the corrosion, you only know it's there
because when it gets cleaned it works again.

I use and recommend an electronic spray contact cleaner on these
connections followed by some dielectric grease (spark plug boot
protector) on their seal skirts.

Sure you can change parts like the MAP sensor and the CPS and the TPS,
but that only gets you 'half' of a new 'clean' connection that will crap
out again way too soon.

I agree with Mike. Find the MAP sensor and clean the connections before
buying parts.

Cheers,

Earle

Thanks for the responses. I have cleaned the contacts and will see if
the problem returns.
