If you've installed a larger radiator and heat is still a problem, look elsewhere for the problem. Is the load too heavy? Tires properly inflated? Wrong RPM range? (when towing, drop a gear to add 10-15% more RPM than normal and stay out of OD with an automatic transmission.) Is the cooling system well maintained? Is the water pump internally damaged? Drive belt slipping? If the fan is electric, is it functioning properly? Turning on at the proper temp? Is the A/C on, accidentally or purposely? Excessive vehicle speeds? Thermostat problem? |
