Electrical Problem

have an 89 Cherokee, low beams don't work. Tried changing headlights,
checked grounds and changed the light switch on dash. High beams do work.
have also checked fuses.

Prior to lights failing I had noticed that the lights would stay on for a
minute or so after turning the ignition and light switch's off.

Any suggestions on how to fix this problem would be appreciated

thanx Derek

Re: Electrical Problem

Hi Derek,
Sounds like you need a volt meter to test where you do have power.
Like you had a short between wires in a loom, maybe trigger your head
light delay module, until it finally melted in two. Wiring diagram:

Re: Electrical Problem

check the 10 pin connector under the air filter box for corrioded wires
