Electrical help on 2001 XJ
Help! I managed to mess up the left side marker lights front/back on my Cherokee this week. Signal, brake, reverse all seem to work. I had been trying to fix a problem with trailer wiring while it was plugged into the XJ. A short blew out a fuse somewhere and I cannot find it. What I lost on the cherokee were front/rear marker lights, license plate light and fog lamps. I could not find any faulty fuses in the foot well on the passenger side and the fuses in the panel in the engine bay. Vehicle is stock with factory installed trailer tow package. Brian |
Re: Electrical help on 2001 XJ
Take a look in your owners manual, it will show you what fuse is for the
taillights and plate light, then replace it with the proper size fuse. Just because they look fine sometimes they have tendency to blow just off center of the little window making them appear good when they are dead. I'd take a look in my manuals but they are 40k's away sitting in the back of my now retired XJ. Snow... Re: Electrical help on 2001 XJ
Thanks for the reply.
I did go back to the junction box and started pulling fuses one at a time and found the blown one.
