I have a Mild edelbrock carb, and it recommends the EDL 2131 (performer)
intake. It is a dual plane, idle to 5500 rpm. Where did you get the holley
kit and how much was it?

Re: edelbrock intake question

No problem. As for the fuel injection kit you can get a new one from Jegs
or Summit Racing and I think they want around $750-$800. I can't remember.
Believe it or not, Advance Auto Parts actually had the least expensive price
that I found while researching it. I bought a used one on Ebay for $500.
It had never been installed and all parts were still in the sealed
containers. It took a while but if you are not in a hurry and want to save
a little $ then Ebay is the way to go. They usually have 4 or 5 for sale
each week. The first time you go wheelin' with a carb and the trail gets a
bit rough while climbing you'll wish you had fuel injection. I had an
Edelbrock 600 cfm carb with the spring loaded needle and seat and it didn't
work at all. Everytime I tried to climb a hill with a few bumps it stalled
at the worst time.

Anyway, sorry for the rambling. Good luck and let me know if you have any
questions.
