Does your Jeep have vinyl or cloth seating?
Which do you prefer?
Why? Thanks, Muuurgh |

Muuurgh did pass the time by typing:
> Which do you prefer? > Why? Cloth/velour in the ZJ. Vinal wipes easy and puts up with water but I got tired of my ass sticking to the bench in my old truck and I can scotchguard the cloth seats. I've also noticed the cloth seats tend to last longer than vinal. All depends on what your planning on doing. If your going to get dirty and hose out the inside, go with vinal cause cloth is going to get real soggy. In all cases, no seat can tollerate forgetting about that screwdriver in your back pocket. :/ -- DougW |

Re: Does your Jeep have vinyl or cloth seating?
my cj7 came with vinyl seats-i can't stand them anymore. my next seats are
going to be cloth. the vinyl gets really hot and sticky in the summer and ice cold in winter. the only benefit is that you can get them wet and clean them up easier than cloth. like DougW said, use scothguard. Re: Does your Jeep have vinyl or cloth seating?
Cloth, definitely. When I'm offroading I just use one of those handy plastic
slip-covers that gather in the back to protect them. They wash up pretty good too- but you don't want to do that too often otherwise they'll rot.
