’83-’86 wide-track CJs: These axles came from the factory with
30-spline one-piece flanged axles and many have limited slips. They were strong enough to hold a four hundred horsepower factory experimental Javelin. Hot Rodders reinforced it by welding the the axle tubes to the housing: http://www.4x4wire.com/jeep/tech/axl..._8/MD_Img6.jpg The swedge two piece axles are just as strong until they're separated for a seal repair by a mechanic that didn't open his repair manual for the correct instructions: http://www.----------.com/amc20hub.jpg Guilty.
