CJ5 gas tank question
 

When i start off suddenly or make turns leaning far enough, it seems gas
leaks out the filler neck, Ive gotten a new gas cap and it still seems to
happen. Is there a common problem here or is it just the filler tube or the
vent hose with a leak?

You have a vented cap, a no, no for your SMOGed year.
