CJ wiper switch hot wire(s)
Without having to remove the dash, I can't seem to locate the wires running
up to the wiper switch (bought mine disconnected). Can anyone tell me where these come from and what types of ends are on them? Thanks 83 CJ7 |
Re: CJ wiper switch hot wire(s)
Almost no one else can either, that's why it's nearly impossible to
find a Real Jeep with the windshield wipers set to return to the start position when shut off. But, there's just one hot one going from the ignition switch to the wippers. So it's just trail and error, until you find the right one for the right speed. Many of us once we figure it out, splice in a trailer pig tail connection, so we may easily take the windshield off during play, not have to worry if it's going to rain going home: http://www.----------.com/v6jeepwire.jpg God Bless America, ßill O|||||||O mailto:-------------------- ABanks5@columbus.rr.com wrote: > > Without having to remove the dash, I can't seem to locate the wires running > up to the wiper switch (bought mine disconnected). Re: CJ wiper switch hot wire(s)
There should be a three prong white connector from the dash harness
(probably hanging loose) that goes to the three poles on the dash switch. <ABanks5@columbus.rr.com> wrote in message news:%KEnb.92064$uJ2.30840@fe3.columbus.rr.com... > Without having to remove the dash, I can't seem to locate the wires running > up to the wiper switch (bought mine disconnected).
