A few of my Fords have done this, in their case it was a weak
battery, strong enough to easily start the engine, but too low to run all four door motors. Once the car is started and the battery is temporally fully charged all is well, until another day or so, after the battery has leaked down. I usually prorate my batteries every couple of years, even though they're guaranteed for another four years, the counter guy has never complained yet.
