Your Saginaw steering box is nearly identical to that used in a
1955 Cadillac. Just use any oil especially made for it. We used to use automatic transmission fluid until about 1972 when it was made against the law to use whale oil. 1955 Cadillac. Just use any oil especially made for it. We used to use automatic transmission fluid until about 1972 when it was made against the law to use whale oil.
