Cat-back systems, headers and catcons

If the catalytic converter was the greatest restriction in any exhaust system
what would be the point of headers or a cat-back system (since the exhaust flow
would be limited by its greatest restriction)?

Nope, flow loss is additive.

Hi Bill,
None. They're just for looks. But you may buy high volume catalytic
converters they're about a foot in diameter, or an oval of equivalent
size, with four inch inlets, that may even work a little like an
expansion chamber, of the two cycle engineering.

I think he should just run 3 inch straight pipes and run on two cylinders
with a single fire ignition.
