Care and feeding of soft top windows?

Whats the care and feeding of soft top windows in below freezing weather...not below
zero, just below where water turns to ice and sticks on everything.

Monday Night Football shows your Hawks playing in the snow. It's

Re: Care and feeding of soft top windows?

Make sure your defroster works well and don't physically touch them
until they have thawed out. This means a lot of driveway warm up time.
They will shatter extremely easily. I have two 8" 'bullet hole' stars
in my windows from people pushing on them when they were frozen.

Re: Care and feeding of soft top windows?

If there is only a bit of frost on the windows and its not super cold, I
just pour a bit of warm water on them to melt the frost off. Never touch
them in the cold, like Mike says they will crack. Other wise just leave them
alone. If you want to clean them resist the urge unless you have a day when
the temp is over 32f.
