Can I Junk My Ignition Module?

I recenty added a DUI distributor set-up, does this mean the igniton
module can now be removed with no consequences.

Can I just unplug & unbolt?

Thanks!

Easy to find out if your wiring is clean, unplug it and see.... The
computer is also garbage.

I think the folks that sell the DUI units expect them to fail so they
recommend you leave the old system as a back up.
