Broken seat part
'91 Cherokee with power seats. A bracket has broken under the driver's
seat. It's about 1.5" wide and about a foot long. It connects to both side rails under the seat back and is normally just a couple of inches above the floor. It's a piece of stamped steel. It's one of those obscure pieces you'd have to be looking at to recognize. Anyway, mine broke on me the other day. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a source for a new one or a used one in good shape. I haven't begun to check the local pick & pulls, yet. Thanks. Mark. |
Re: Broken seat part
Unbolt your old one and have LeRoy at the corner welding shop fix it. Have
him brace it with something from his scrap pile if you want. After all.... it lasted 15 years... If you stop by shortly before closing with a cold six-pack you might get it done for free...
