Brake pads question?
 

Few days ago, I installed new (disc) brake pads on my XJ. Now, every time
when I come home (I live in a valley and that means I usually brake a lot)
those new pads are stinking like hell, like burned. Seems like they are are
slightly dragging but I've checked my wheels and everything seems OK. With
the old pads it has never been like this. I understand that short period of
"running in" must pass but, such a smell.... any suggestions? Thanks.
