Was: Bill you were right - Which axles come stock on a 2003 Wrangler X?
I've been thinking about larger tires on the Wrangler. My guess is I have the weak axles? No locker? Obviously I'm just starting with all this. Regards, Larry |

The Dana 30-35 series axles are identifiable by their shape. See

Unless it was a special build, I'm fairly certain the X models come with a
D35 standard. The X is basically an SE (base model) with a 4.0L motor/tranny combo. The X model was (is) not available with the D44.
