Anybody know whaere a bracket for the alternator can be found for a 76' 258
motor?

Boneyard. Any 6 cyl AMC engine should do the trick, either 232 or 258.

If you local recycler doesn't have one they can get on the junkyard network
and find you one.

If you local recycler doesn't have one they can get on the junkyard network
and find you one.
