98 JGC radiator question

I was looking under the radiator and can not find a way to drain the radiator
other than removing the lower hose. Is there a radiator drain valve down
there somewhere I'm missing ?

Also , when changing coolant , do you guys also drain the engine block ?

Thanks,
Morph

Should be. On my 4.0 it is located at the bottom passenger side of the radiator.
You fit a hose to the outlet then unscrew till it starts draining.

Some do, I don't bother since most of the block will drain.

I had a hard time finding it the first time I changed the fluid on my old
Cherokee. Once you find it, it'll be the only thing you see down there from
that moment on :)

Which engine? V8 or 6?

On the 6, the radiator should have a draincock on the lower right. On
the V8, on the lower left. Drain first with radiator cap on, then
remove cap to continue. Then drain the block if desired...it can
hold quite a bit of coolant.
