Re: 97XJ Rear Wiper Motor

I've started cleaning and greasing any connectors, and all the grounds, I
come across whenever I work on the Jeep. I'm not having any problems at the
moment but I'm in the mode where I hope that I can prevent any corrosion
related electrical problems from happening.

My neighbor gave me a can of the stuff they use on German cars. It works
well but I am not looking forward to the day I have to buy another as it is
almost $20 per can. I'll probably just go back to Permatex or whatever
brand is on sale that day.

I'm not sure what advantages it offers for electrical connections other than
it sets up clear and is not sticky so it doesn't attract dust.

I do that too and it works. I recently had a catastrophic failure of
the rear lights in the CJ7 and the connections were fine but the sockets
for the bulbs had crumbled to dust. The bulbs were literally laying in
the bottom of the fixtures.

Call them up, and ask them to ship it. I'm sure they take CC.
